Position Overview
As a Medior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) application through diligent testing and analysis.
You will work closely with the development team in an agile environment to identify issues and ensure that our software meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finetune acceptance criteria in user stories, design and Execute Manual test cases accordingly
- Perform functional, E2E, API, performance, smoke, regression and sanity testing.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with team members to improve testing processes and frameworks.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the test automation framework.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure testing activities align with agile principles and practices.
- Where possible: automate regression tests or repeated steps.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Able to perform risk-based testing
- Knowledge of Powershell scripting.
- Strong understanding of all Testing Types.
- Proficient in SQL queries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in an agile environment with an agile mindset.
- Ability to provide Estimates / Story Points on User Stories.
- A thorough understanding of the audit and security concerns around access management.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge about Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) systems, Active
- Directory and/or Entra ID.
- ISTQB Foundation Certification or higher.
- Ability to self-upskill, including on new technologies and specialist skills (e.g., quality analysis or programming languages) as required to support the needs of SD Worx.
- Experience in automated testing with tools such as Playwright
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity.
- Experience with Azure Devops using Test Plan and Azure Pipeline.
