About the Role:
Our client a UK HQ managed service company in Ebene is seeking a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Administrator to manage, optimize, and maintain our Marketing Cloud platform integrated with Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM. The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in supporting marketing campaigns, ensuring data accuracy, managing data synchronization, customer preferences, and automated campaigns, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Administration:
- Maintain and configure Marketing Cloud features (e.g., Journey Builder, Email Studio).
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot as needed.
Data Management:- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer data within Marketing Cloud.
- Configure and manage Data Extensions, Contact Builder, and Audience Segments.
- Integrate data from Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud) and other systems, leveraging APIs or native connectors.
Campaign Execution:- Assist in creating and deploying email campaigns, SMS, push notifications, and personalized customer journeys.
- Establish credibility with ESPs (domain warming etc).
Reporting and Analytics:- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
Process Optimization:- Document processes and collaborate with teams to align with business goals.
Compliance with UK GDPR and Marketing Regulations- Manage opt-in/opt-out processes and ensure campaigns meet GDPR standards.
- Maintain updated subscriber preferences.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- Marketing Cloud Administrator Certificate.
- Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certificate.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Marketing Cloud features, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.
- Knowledge of AMP script, SQL, HTML, and CSS for creating and personalizing email templates.
- Familiarity with data management tools and best practices.
- Understanding of CRM–SFMC integrations, preference management, and segmentation best practices.
Preferred:- Experience with SMS configurations and compliance standards.
- Experience with APIs and system integrations.
- Hands-on experience in building custom preference centers.
- Knowledge of customer data privacy regulations (GDPR etc.).
