Our client, a well-known insurance agent, is looking for an Insurance Officer.
Main duties
- Assist in the monitoring of Individual and Corporate General Insurance business.
- Maintain the individual and general control lists up to date at all times.
- Send Instruction forms to Head Office for all classes of business and follow up until transactions are completed.
- Assist in the preparation of quotations and help Insurance Officers in the negotiation of deals with the Head Office.
- Attend to and follow up of internal and external queries.
- Updating clients’ data and all day-to-day records as required.
- Client’s file to be updated with all KYC documents and be filed on Eazzy as well.
- Active participation in plans to expand activities of the company.
- Assist the Salesperson and Insurance Officers in the administrative tasks & follow up.
- Ensure smooth communication with the insurer.
- Act as a strong back up to the Insurance Officers.
- Provide assistance in Life Assurance & other long-term Insurance products to Insurance Officers. Such as: Follow up of quotes, prepare files and follow up between the insurer and clients.
- Any other cognate duties
Qualifications
- HSC level
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in English and French (both verbal and written)
- Proficient with MS Office
- Any qualifications in insurance would be an advantage
