The Therapist should maximize customer satisfaction by providing an efficient guest contact function that addressed the day to day needs for the hotel’s guest.
- Under the guidance of the Spa Manager and within the limits of the Hotel Policies, the Therapist should ensure that all operational procedures, codes of conduct and standards of treatments, services and appearance, set down by the Spa Management are adhered to and are complied with by all staff.
- Ensures that all spa duties and procedures are carried out in line with the hotel service standards and policy, with high standards of personal appearance, grooming, personal hygiene, correct uniform and name badge as outlined in hotel rules.
- Ensures that all treatments given to guests are at all times up to standard set up by Hotel and Spa Manager.
- Ensures that skills are acquired and applied on a continuous basis.
- Maintains personal knowledge by completing in-house training and workbooks
- Be involved and contribute at team meetings
- Ensures the smooth running of the department at all times and maintains a high standard of treatments and motivation within the team.
- Maintains a positive attitude towards Hotel Guests, Hotel Managers, Spa Manager and all Spa Team
- Give accurate information to guests concerning all spa activities and services
- Ensures that cabins and areas allotted are clean and tidy, at all times. Perfumes, ambience (including temperature and lighting) and safety of the allotted area must be ensured.
- Therapist must conduct regular checks in areas allotted and do the needful whenever needed.
- Report any maintenance issues immediately to Assistant Spa Manager, Head Therapist or Spa Manager about any disfunctionments of equipements, including all furniture and fittings and equipment and do the follow up.
- Assist in maintaining a relaxing, appropriate style and volume of entertainment in all areas of the spa.
- Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person
- Deliver excellent customer service, at all times including answering the telephone, welcoming guests, accompanying guests to changing rooms and spa facilities, accompanying guests to cabins and relaxing areas, bringing tea, juice or water to guests and others
- Promote and upsell all spa services and activities
- Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
- May be called upon at times to perform other related tasks not specifically included in this description.
- Knowledge in Yoga & Meditation will be a plus.
