Job description

Main responsibilities:

  • Welcome, advise and assist customers professionally and courteously.
  • Sell products and help the boutique reach its sales targets.
  • Handle shop set-up, restocking and merchandising.
  • Process payments and manage the cash register.
  • Take part in inventories and stock management.
  • Keep the sales area clean and attractive, in line with hygiene standards.
Qualifications & Profile:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong sense of customer service and attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of sales and merchandising techniques.
  • Proficiency in computer tools, MS Office and point-of-sale software.
  • Rigour, discipline, good organisational skills and team spirit.
  • Holder of a Food Handler certificate.
  • Good presentation and adherence to the standards of the hotel and Beachcomber Boutiques.
  • Willingness to learn continuously and develop one’s skills.
  • Openness to training and technological change, to help improve work processes.
