Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, delivery and administration of all training and development activities across the resort.
- Design, implement and monitor the annual training and development plan in collaboration with Department Heads.

- Deliver regular training programmes focused on five-star service standards, guest experience, communication, grooming, professional behaviour and service excellence.
- Identify training needs and implement practical programmes to continuously improve employees' competencies and the overall level of service.
- Conduct interactive training sessions, workshops, refresher courses and on-the-job coaching.
- Monitor departmental training plans and ensure compliance with the hotel's established standards and procedures.
- Handle all HRDC-related training administration, including training grant applications, relevant forms and submissions, supporting documentation, claims, training records and follow-up with the Human Resource Development Council.
- Coordinate external trainers, training institutions and professional development programmes.

- Measure training effectiveness and work closely with operational departments to achieve visible improvements in employee performance and guest satisfaction.
- Support the Human Resources team with training-related administrative responsibilities and employee development initiatives.

- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
- Sound knowledge of HRDC procedures, training grants, claims and related administrative requirements in Mauritius.
- Demonstrated ability to design, facilitate and evaluate effective training programmes.
- Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest service expectations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation and coaching skills.

- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Fluency in English and French.
