Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa is recruiting a professional, courteous and service-oriented Porter / Driver to join its Front Office team.

The successful candidate will contribute to an exceptional guest arrival and departure experience while providing safe and reliable transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage handling.
• Escort guests to their rooms and provide relevant information about hotel facilities.
• Assist with guest departures, luggage collection and transportation arrangements.
• Safely drive hotel vehicles when assigned to guest transfers or operational duties.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles and luggage storage areas.
• Coordinate with Reception, Concierge and other departments to respond to guest requests.
• Ensure professional and discreet handling of guest belongings.

Candidate Profile

• Valid Mauritian driving licence, appropriate for the vehicles to be driven.
• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, guest transportation or customer service environment would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and French.
• Excellent personal presentation and customer service attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Knowledge of local routes and attractions would be an advantage.
• Ability to assist with luggage handling.
