Night Auditor

VACANCY – NIGHT AUDITOR (Local position and Mauritian permit holders only)

Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced, professional and customer-focused Night Auditor to join its Front Office team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily night audit procedures, ensuring accuracy of financial transactions and hotel records.
• Verify and reconcile daily revenue, guest accounts, payments and billing transactions.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial, occupancy and operational reports.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.
• Attend to guest requests, enquiries and complaints during night operations.
• Ensure accurate posting of charges, payments and adjustments in the Property Management System (PMS).
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and cashiering issues.
• Coordinate with Security and other departments to ensure smooth overnight operations.
• Deliver exceptional guest service in line with five-star luxury standards.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Front Office operations, preferably in a five-star hotel or luxury resort.
• Proven hands-on experience in night audit procedures is essential.
• Good knowledge of hotel accounting procedures, revenue reconciliation and daily reporting.
• Proficiency in hotel PMS, preferably Opera or a similar system.
• Experience in guest check-in, check-out and cashiering procedures.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a guest-focused approach.
• Good command of English; French would be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
• Professional attitude, reliability and strong attention to detail.
