Job Description
We are seeking a highly dynamic, strategic, and resilient Operations Manager to serve as the primary right hand to the Director. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of commercial trucks, construction equipment, and spare parts, combined with strong leadership acumen.
In this pivotal role, you will hold full operational authority to oversee, streamline, and manage the daily workflows of all core departments
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Ensure that standard operating procedures (SOPs) are rigorously followed across all departments to maintain quality and compliance.
- Monitor workshop efficiency, mechanics' productivity, turnaround times for repairs, and equipment readiness.
- Supervise daily financial transactions, cash flow metrics, cost control initiatives, and administrative accounting.
- Drive sales pipelines for equipment and spare parts while maximizing client retention through stellar aftersales service.
- Optimize inventory levels for parts, eliminate stockouts, and negotiate cost-effective terms with suppliers.
- Oversee general office management, HR administration, and overall business workflows
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of commercial trucks, construction heavy equipment, and mechanical spare parts
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, ideally within the automotive, fleet, logistics, or construction sector.
- Proven track record of working closely with directors/owners, enforcing rules, and driving organizational accountability.
- Exceptional eye for detail with a strict focus on adherence to systems and procedures.
- Absolute flexibility and willingness to remain on-call to manage unexpected operational demands.
- A forward-thinking professional who consistently proposes modern tools or methods to upgrade business operations.
