Job Description
The successful incumbent will be responsible for:-
•Prospecting: Identify and generate new business leads through cold calling, networking and market research. •Closing
Deals: Respond to inquiries promptly, conduct site inspections and negotiate
contracts to secure bookings.
•Upselling:
Maximize revenue per booking by cross-selling premium menus, beverage packages
and audio-visual setups.
•Target
Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by
management.
•Interdepartmental
Liaison: Coordinate closely with the culinary team, outlet managers and banquet
staff to ensure event details match client expectations.
•Event
Orders (BEO’s): Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders outlining menus,
schedules, layouts and special requests.
•On-Site
Support: Attend key events to ensure seamless execution and handle any
last-minute client requests.
RELATIONSHIP & ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
•Client
Retention: Maintain a database of corporate accounts and regular clients to
secure repeat business.
•Guest
Relations: Provide exceptional customer service from the initial inquiry phase
through post-event feedback.
•Community
Networking: Represent the venue at hospitality exhibitions, local business
mixers, and networking events.
REQUIREMENTS
•Highly motivated, self-driven, and target oriented. •Flexible schedule to work evenings,
weekends or holidays based on event bookings.
•Presentable appearance with a
welcoming and positive attitude.
•Communication: Exceptional verbal,
written and presentation skills to effectively pitch to corporate executives.
•Adaptability and positivity,
maintaining a pleasant manner and positive attitude when coordinating with head
of departments and guests.
•Organization: Ability to multitask
and manage multiple event timelines simultaneously under tight deadlines.
•Strong ability for problem solving.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Higher School Certificate or Diploma in Hotel/Tourism Management will be an advantage. •Certificate
in customer care.
•IT
Literate
•A
clean certificate of character is a must.
Experience
•A
minimum of 3 years working experience in the hotel industry preferably in the
F&B Department.
