Job Description
At

clinics in Forbach, Tamarin and Bon Pasteur, our Life Hospital at Home service,

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Retail Pharmacists to join our healthcare teams at La Clinique Mauricienne and Life Medical Clinic Bon Pasteur.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the
overall operations of the Pharmacy, with particular emphasis on the retail
pharmacy.
- Ensure that all
pharmacy staff comply with the Pharmacy Act, the Dangerous Drugs Act, and
all applicable regulations.
- Ensure that the
Pharmacy operates in accordance with the Pharmacy Act, the Dangerous Drugs
Act, the Clinic's policies and procedures, and the regulations of the
Ministry of Health and Wellness.
- Work closely
with the Deputy Medical Director, doctors, nurses, dietitians, and other
healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient
care.
- Coordinate the
procurement of pharmaceuticals and consumables from approved suppliers.
- Monitor and
maintain effective stock control within the Pharmacy and oversee the
management of pharmacy sub-stores.
- Verify payroll
records for the Pharmacy team.
- Train, mentor,
and support newly recruited pharmacists and pharmacy dispensers.
- Participate in
training and continuous professional development programmes organised by
the Company.
- Ensure the
delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centred pharmaceutical services.
- Perform any other cognate duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's
Degree in Pharmacy.
- Registered
Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Mauritius and holding a valid
practising licence.
- Minimum of 3
years' experience in a retail and/or hospital pharmacy, preferably with
supervisory responsibilities.
- Sound knowledge
of the Pharmacy Act, the Dangerous Drugs Act, and other relevant
healthcare legislation.
- Strong
leadership, organisational, and people management skills.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work
effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in
inventory management and pharmacy information systems.
- High level of
professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to
work weekends and public holidays, as required.
