The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately recording and managing the hours worked by construction crews on various job sites. This role is critical in ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor workers' attendance, punctuality, leave requests, and permissions, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Guarantee accurate collection, calculation, preparation, and timely payment of wages and bonuses to our hardworking crew.
- Ensure all workers are fully equipped with the necessary tools and gear to excel on-site.
- Arrange travel accommodations and logistics for workers, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Act as the on-site communication point, addressing workers' concerns and questions.
- Conduct new hire orientations to welcome and integrate new team members on-site.
- Take on various administrative tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the site operations.
Ideal profile:
- Proven experience as a timekeeper or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work flexible and irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work on site (at different locations, depending on project requirements)
- Proficiency in using IT softwares.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to timekeeping and payroll is a plus.
