Talent Acquisition Specialist- HR
The Talent Specialist is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding the right people for the job, all while factoring in the long-term goals of the Bank. He/She is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment of all open positions which includes selection, negotiation and finalization of the contracts with the candidates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate with Head of departments to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
- Manage all recruitment needs for the bank, including implementing and continually developing a robust recruitment process.
- Oversee the day to day management of the recruitment process, including reviewing job descriptions, internal and external advertising of vacant posts.
- Creating and continually improving offer letters and contracts of employment, whilst managing the timely distribution of such documents.
- Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
- Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references.
- Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders.
- Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates.
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person or virtual interviews.
- Provide guidance and forecasting for future hiring needs and assist in capacity planning.
- Ensure a smooth on boarding process for new recruits and liaise with Learning Academy for the induction of the new employee.
- Audit of jobs completed to ensure that we have all the documents required.
- Measure key recruitment metrics, like source of hire and time-to-hire.
- Responsible for the performance review of the newly hired employee with the line manager.
- Responsible to collect the performance feedback from the manager of a newly hired employee.
- Manage confirmation process on iHR to ensure that probationers are assessed well and confirmed/ extend confirmation.
- Coordinate and manage transfers across departments.
- Assist staff in completing their exit formalities.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders for information to be provided by owners of each unit.
- Design and implemantion of a succession plan
PREREQUISITES:
- Degree in Banking or human resource or related discipline in any other field as accepted by the bank.
- A master degree in Human resource will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated experience plus + 5 years’ experience at Supervisory level in a Banking. environment or any other industry in a similar position.
SKILLS:
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across businesses and with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience in evaluating and partnering with premier external providers.
- Critical thinker with strong ability to diagnose capability gaps and identify solutions.
