Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to all e-mails and phone calls, both internal and external
- Mail/Scan documents to customers
- Deal with customs for Export and Import processing
- Ensure that norm certificate for electronics is obtained and sent to MSB for approval before importation.
- Follow up transport planning and monitor cost from supplier per container received.
- Ensure with accounting that all payments towards all forwarders / shipping line are done on time (Delivery Order)
- Processing of import and export permit on trade link system
- Booking on Shipping Line Portal
- Booking on DHL Portal
- Process customs declaration on trade net.
- Update IRN on CCS so that import so that data is visible to shipping line (So that customs can release container)
- Update MIS [Dragon Electronics internal system]
- Liaise with internal departments for missing or incorrect documents and intervene if needed by interacting directly with suppliers / forwarders / shipping line and others.
- Follow-up of shipping documents received from Supplier and Freight forwarders as well as Monitoring with Shipping Line
- Keep track of changes in Vessel dates
- Provide export and import summary [Shipping Schedule].
- Assist in External Audit
Requirements:
- At least 5 years proven experience in shipping department.
- Possess a High School Certificate.
- Diploma in Supply chain, Logistics or similar relevant field
- Experience in using EDI and preparing shipping documents (e.g., ASN)
- Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills
- IT Literate
