Key/Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan the workload and follow up the work assigned to pickers to meet the targeted service level.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy. Ensure warehouse best practices, such as clean-as-you-go and wearing of protective gears, are implemented, and followed at all times.
• Perform daily Cycle Counts and take immediate actions regarding discrepancies.
• Receive products from imports (direct to DP) and bond/excise warehouse according to established procedures and ensure that stock is up to date on the system within one working day.
• Manage FEFO/ FIFO and maintain an optimum stock level at DP using R+, for bonded and excisable goods.
• Ensure collection of returns within 24 hours.
• Perform timely deliveries after proper verification against invoices and as per cut-off time.
• Flag low and out of stock events promptly to all concerned parties.
• Ensure 99.9% accuracy of stock following monthly inventory.
• Ensure that products are stored in good conditions and damage level is kept to less than 0.1% and non-conform sheets are duly filled in in case of non-conformities.
• Plan space in advance for new arrivals to avoid storage and demurrage charges.
• Ensure proper backup is identified and trained to replace when needed.

Education / Experience / Skills required:

• Education: Form V, qualifications or any equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of at least two years’ experience.
• Skills required: Stock Management Skills
• Computer literate: Excel, word, outlook.
• Ability to work odds hour.
