Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial Statements: Prepare and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Bank Reconciliation: Maintain up-to-date reconciliations and ensure accuracy.
- Statutory Returns: Ensure timely and compliant submission of statutory reports.
- Reconciliation: Oversee CAT incentives and reimbursement reconciliation.
- Payroll Processing: Handle payroll entries for both onshore and offshore teams.
- Accruals & Prepayments: Manage and track financial transactions effectively.
- Team Management: Supervise a small team with a focus on accounts receivables
General Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial reports regularly.
- Ensure full compliance with internal procedures and regulations.
- Report anomalies or issues to direct superiors.
- Maintain regular follow-ups on key financial matters.
- Carry out other finance-related duties as assigned.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Competencies
- Strong sense of autonomy, organization, and rigor
- Ability to work efficiently and responsively under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive in problem-solving and decision-making
- Proficient in MS Office and financial databases
- Team player with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of the African market is an advantage
