Sales and Operations Manager - Grewals Mauritius Ltd

Grewals Mauritius Limited is on the lookout for a dynamic Sales and Operations Manager for our Timber Department to spearhead our sales and operations in the distribution of building materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Sales and Operations: Direct overall sales and operational activities to ensure they are aligned for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strategy Development: Craft and execute innovative sales and operational strategies that increase market share and streamline processes across all product lines.
• Customer Relationships: Foster deep, sustainable relationships with key clients, focusing on a customer-first approach to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
• Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team, establishing clear performance goals, promoting accountability, and cultivating a culture of excellence.
• Market Expansion: Drive brand visibility and product penetration in local market, adding value for customers and stakeholders alike.
• Credibility and Communication: Enhance trust and engagement through transparent and strategic communication, strengthening our market position and operational outcomes.
• Event Participation: Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and seminars to boost both sales and operational insights.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 10 years in sales management, with a strong preference for experience within the building materials sector.
• Proven leadership in managing both sales and operations teams.
• Skills:
• Demonstrated success in sales growth, negotiation, and operational management.
• Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet stringent deadlines.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to make decisions that balance risk and profitability.
• Seasoned Manager with clear management principles to manage a diverse team and experience in handling employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
• Proficient in warehouse operations, yard logistics, and delivery schedules
