Safety & Health Trainee

We are looking for a trainee to join our Health & Safety team based in Bel Ombre.

Overview of the role:

As a Safety and Health Trainee, you will work under the supervision of experienced safety and health professionals, assisting with a variety of tasks related to promoting a safe and healthy work environment. This position offers the opportunity to develop critical skills in risk assessment, safety training, policy implementation, and compliance monitoring.

• The duration of the internship is three months

 Main Responsibilities:

• Help create a positive safety and health culture.
• Assist with delivering safety and health training.
• Follow up on accidents or incidents.
• Monitor reported unsafe situations and help improve them.
• Join regular workplace inspections and help develop improvement plans.
• Assist with daily safety and health tasks, making sure everything follows legal rules and company policies.
• Accompany the safety coordinator in safety & health meetings.
• Teamwork spirit and positive attitude

Candidate's Profile:

• Candidates with a degree holder in Health and Safety or any related fields
• Past experience in Health and Safety would be an advantage
• Valid driving license and personal car would be an advantage
• Candidates residing in the West, South, and Central regions will be given preference.
