Production Assistant - ABC Coach Works Ltd

We are searching for a Production Assistant to oversee our production operations. You will be responsible to ensure that the bus and truck body manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and planning workflows.

Qualification & Knowledge

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering, Automotive Mechanics, Operations Management, or any other relevant technical or vocational qualification
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or automotive environment
• Proficient in MS Office
• Holder of a valid car driving licence

Responsibilities

• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Liaise with the sales department regarding job appointments and schedules
• Ensure efficient planning, booking, and coordination of work related to manufacturing and repairs
• Monitor the achievement of production targets
• Review job progress and liaise with supervisors for timely completion and delivery
• Check production output to ensure it meets specifications
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Ensure that there are no disruptions in production due to lack of materials by coordinating with stores and procurement
