ABC Coach Works Ltd is looking for a Procurement Clerk/Assistant to assist in the day to day operations of the department.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy/completeness of purchase requests and generate purchase orders in a timely manner
- Request for quotation from different suppliers & comparison of prices.
- Monitor material delivery status with supplier, reconcile liaise with supplier for any order discrepancies.
- Liaise with suppliers for prompt delivery of goods.
- Follow up on down-payments with accounting department
- Prepare and maintain periodic reports for management
- Assist in the monitoring of inventory levels
- Perform checks to ensure that customers are billed on time
- Support on other tasks as assigned by the HOD
Qualifications ad Competencies
- Diploma or Degree
- At least 1-3 years in procurement environment
- Works well in a fast-paced environment with minimal day-to-day supervision
- Ability to work odds hours when required
- Ability to work under pressure and carry out multi-tasks in simultaneous projects
- Possesses excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and communication skills
- Conversant with Microsoft office tools.
