Agriterra is looking for a motivated and dynamic candidate to fulful the role of Procurement Assistant.

 

Main duties and responsibilities 

  • Assisting in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, materials, and services.
  • Maintaining and updating procurement records, reports, and supplier databases.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to understand and fulfill procurement requirements.
  • Managing purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and standards.
  • Monitoring market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Handling supplier queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks & highlight any discrepancies.
  • Minimize overstocking and identify obsolete/redundant items.

Candidate Profile

  • A Diploma in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Two years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and sound communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word).
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on delivering results and solving challenges.
