Agriterra is looking for a motivated and dynamic candidate to fulful the role of Procurement Assistant.
Main duties and responsibilitiesÂ
- Assisting in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, materials, and services.
- Maintaining and updating procurement records, reports, and supplier databases.
- Collaborating with internal teams to understand and fulfill procurement requirements.
- Managing purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and standards.
- Monitoring market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Handling supplier queries and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks & highlight any discrepancies.
- Minimize overstocking and identify obsolete/redundant items.
Candidate Profile
- A Diploma in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Two years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and sound communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word).
- A proactive mindset with a focus on delivering results and solving challenges.
