Winners, the leading supermarket chain in Mauritius, is looking for a Customer Service Representative who will ensure smooth operations at the reception area by managing all incoming calls, greeting visitors, and providing information courteously and professionally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage with customers through various channels (telephone, email, social media, website, letter, and in-person)
- Address customer complaints, suggestions, and compliments with a proactive and empathetic approach
- Promptly resolve customer queries and guide them through their shopping experience both online and offline
- Collect and relay information regarding customer queries to relevant departments for action planning
- Maintain regular communication with the Customer Service Manager regarding customer service decisions and updates
- Compile and submit detailed reports on customer interactions and feedback to the Customer Service Manager
- Guide customers through their online shopping experience, providing advice and assistance as needed
- Ensure all customer queries are managed within the service level agreements (SLAs)
- Conduct customer surveys using predefined scripts and compile survey results for analysis
- Greet and assist visitors courteously, ensuring they are directed appropriately
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- School Certificate or any other relevant qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of the local FMCG sector or Retail business can be an advantage
OTHER REQUISITES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to convey information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for visitors
- Ability to handle customer inquiries and issues with patience and professionalism
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Available to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as odd hours
