Veranda Tamarin is seeking for a motivated and experienced Human Resource Assistant to join our team. Join us to be part of an innovative and dynamic environment where your contributions make a difference.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
1Take part in training and implement accordingly
2Conduct Staff Recruitment and selection process
3Ensure a timely organised and comprehensive procedure to hire staff
4Welcomes newly hired employees and executes the onboarding journey; manages the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great People Experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.
5Prepare onboarding documents and kits including Contract of Employment and Job description for the new hires and ensuring availability of uniforms for new recruit.
6Ensure that a training plan is well set in advance with the HOD to facilitate training of new staff.
7Keep his superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area
8Identifies innovative and creative new ways to onboard new employees/reach a more scalable and measurable People Onboarding Experience.
9Assist in the building of an efficient team by taking interest in their welfare, safety & development
10Close follow up of Performance Appraisal of new hired together with HOD
11Ensure constant presence in the operations to perform mediation, counselling, pulse check and maintain employee relations and satisfaction at its highest level
12Follow up of Purchase Request (Uniform...) as and when required
13Interact with TM to obtain feedback and suggestion for improvement
14Assist and advise TMs/HODs on HR matters
 Assist on conducting Exit & Return to Work Interview with TM
15Participate fully in activities related to TMs Engagement Survey Activities & Exercises
16Ensure that all salary increases / promotions are as per SOP, update HR records accordingly and follow up with PHRSA
17Assist in compiling and maintaining various monthly statistical reports (labour force/turnover/absenteeism/overtime….)
18Prepare correspondence, forms and reports, arrange meetings and take minutes of all HR meetings
19Prepare all documentation in line with recruitment, departure of TMs
20Handle inquires in absence of Superior
21Assist in all reference checks on new recruits
22Update communication on notice board
23Coordinate transport of all TM with transport provider and sort out all TM transport issues
24Assist in the organisation of welfare and social activities

Candidate's Profile:

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management/Psychology from a recognised institution
  • 1 year experience in HR                                     
  • Fluent both in English and French, a third language would be an advantage
  • Conversant with prevailing legislation, policies & procedures (RO/WRA)
