Responsible to collaborate between requestors, buyers, and suppliers to following up and ensuring the Materials are delivered on time to ABI.

 

  1. KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
    • Execute PO Follow up Confirmation process.
    • PO modification on SAP
    • Contact Suppliers to obtain PO status confirmation.
    • Analyse SAP data to evaluate PO status and follow up with supplier to make sure to deliver the materials On-Time.
    • Ensure daily or weekly trackers is updated on timely basis and populated with accurate information obtained from the supplier and shared with the requestor whenever applicable.
    • Monitor if Goods Receipt is done On time by requestor and follow up.
    • Play bridge between suppliers / requestor and Accounts Payable team to solve queries.
    • Educate and Onboard supplier or requestor on Procurement operations ways of working.
    • Manage daily or weekly or monthly activities along with additional process improvement.
    • Ensure delivery the basics with highest quality standards and on-time.
    • Be proactiveness on communicating with stakeholders on PO status, queries etc.
    • Ability to solve problem quickly and effectively applying logical thinking and creative mindset.
Be assertive and goal oriented and drive results with minimal support

Required

 Level of educational attainment required:

    • Graduate in the field of Business, Supply chain, or other equivalent degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous work experience (Good to have)
    •  Experience in Procurement function / Supply Chain
  • Language skills required.
    • Fluent English (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Technical Competencies
    • Mandatory: SAP usage
    • Proficient in Advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint

BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT 
  • Main Characteristics: This is an offshore role and requires comfort with working in virtual environment. RPSS is referred to as the offshore location from where the position will be based out of. Role requires to work in collaborative manner with Internal Stakeholders / Zone Category leads and Suppliers.

-      Questions from business stakeholders answered satisfactorily within agreeable time

Challenges: Primary challenges may include no documentation on process, insufficient data availability, system downtime, lack of co-operation from different stakeholders etc.
