To take guests’ orders by telephone and to deliver hospitable service to guests in rooms and/or various catering functions as per the Hotel’s standards.
In-Room Dining Operations
- Properly sets trays for rooms.
- Assists the Chef de Rang in table setting and clearing in rooms as and when required.
- Assists Team Members in preparing VIP fruit baskets and other amenities.
- Assists Chef de Rang is mise-en-place of Special set-ups
Orders Taking & Processing
- Answers the telephone to take orders as per the Hotel’s standards.
- Informs kitchen or bar about orders as soon as any food item or drink is ordered by guests.
- Follows up whether orders are processed efficiently and within the agreed time parameters.
Billing Procedures
- Charges all items ordered by guests following established billing procedures.
