The Construction Manager will oversee the construction of waste disposal cells, ensuring efficient execution and compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include project planning, budgeting, and coordination, with a focus on landfill construction.

 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate construction of waste disposal cells, including walls, roads, drainage, gas wells, and related works.
  • Manage project aspects: budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Communicate with stakeholders: engineers, contractors, government agencies, and environmental regulators.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
  • Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
  • Implement and uphold effective project management processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in landfill construction.
  • Strong technical knowledge of landfill construction techniques, including walls, roads, drainage, gas collection, and leachate management.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED are advantageous.
