The United Basalt Products Ltd is seeking to recruit a Maintenance Technician – Fitter for its site at UBP Geoffroy.
Key Responsibilities:
- To follow-up and execute the preventive maintenance established program
- To do inspection and servicing of equipments
- To carry out continuous survey on equipment health and running conditions
- To dismantle, replace defective spare parts and reassemble equipment as and when required
- To anticipate any issue and prevent downtime due to equipment failure
- To estimate timeframe, resources, tools and other requirements for maintenance interventions
- To help and participate in cleaning and other general tasks to maintain good equipment condition
- To help other employees for maintenance and repairs related tasks like fabrication, installation, assembly, dismantling
Candidate profile:
- Minimum qualification: Form III
- NTC 3 or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience
- Valid driving license would be an advantage
