To assist with and coordinate daily operations aligned to the implementation and execution of Smollan’s Marketing agenda. Further, to support the production and distribution of Marketing content and initiatives to be used across the business, both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Marketing Administration & Support
• Support the coordination, production and distribution of any marketing materials, campaigns, and initiatives for the CX and Product and Service marketing managers
• Set-up and monitor tracking systems for Marketing campaigns and activities
• Assist with the day-to-day Marketing tasks and admin-related activities
• Co-ordinate requests from various stakeholders based on support and/or queries
• Provide support for internal and external events as required.
Data Management and Reporting
• Update and maintain the Marketing team’s documentation and databases
• Ensure proper filing, document management and good housekeeping
• Process all PO’s and invoices timeously
• Keep an accurate recon of the annual Marketing budget spend
• Ensure understanding of the CRM system functionality and reporting for updating and reporting purposes
Project Management
• Compile project plans for the implementation of Marketing initiatives
• Manage, monitor, and contribute to various projects and activities
• Ensure that projects remain on track and that timelines are met
• Coordinate activities across teams, where relevant
Research and Analysis
• Conduct, source and analyse research to support the generation of Marketing CX and Product and service material
• Identify and share trends and best practice in industry
• Analyse, summarise and draw conclusions from information collected to inform projects and make recommendations
• Collaborate with the team to leverage opportunities based on identified trends
• Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the CX and product and service strategies used by competitors locally and globally Stakeholder Management
• Partner with key stakeholders in the project planning process
• Identify and address needs of all key relevant stakeholders
• Participate and assist in preparing for meetings with key stakeholders
Minimum Experience: 2- 3 years’ experience in Marketing or Communications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Computer literacy - MS office suite
