The IT Manager will oversee IT support for all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage operations, while ensuring guest data security and a smooth technological experience for both staff and guests.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Constance SOPs.

  • To assist authorised users in relation to operation of the hotel’s I.S. system hardware, various modules and supporting personal computers.

  • To coordinate the timely repair and return to service of any faulty systems or items of equipment.

  • To rebuild data corrupted by either hardware or software faults.

  • To set up emergency procedures to continue the operation of the hotel in the event of system failure.

  • To arrange the distribution of Night Audit and other regularly system-produced reports.

  • To establish necessary security measures to prevent unauthorised access to the I.S. systems.

  • To provide technical assistance to Internal or External Audit staff.

  • To work with the Operational Departments to set up and maintain clean relevant databases for management purpose.

  • To regularly check that all licenses are complete and up to date.

  • To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the outlet and all other departments.

  • To handle guest and employee inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.

  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of software and hardware updates, patches, and security measures.

  • Support the organization's network infrastructure, including monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving network issues, and assisting in the configuration of network devices.

  • Provide training and support to end-users on the use of IT systems and applications.

  • Assist in the setup and support of audio-visual equipment for events and meetings.

  • Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy

  • Commercial awareness, planning and organizational skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or any related qualification from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experiences in a similar position is preferred.
