Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking to recruit an experienced IT Coordinator to support the growing technology needs and oversee the continuous improvement of the systems.

 

The IT Coordinator will need to have a strong background in ERP system implementation and management, particularly in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • ODOO ERP Management: Lead and oversee the ongoing implementation and support of ODOO ERP across multiple functions.
  • Manufacturing & Shop Floor Integration: Actively support the implementation and optimization of ODOO's manufacturing and shop floor modules to streamline production workflows.
  • System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Ensure all IT systems, are running smoothly and efficiently. Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues as they arise.
  • Data Management: Maintain and manage data integrity across ODOO modules, ensuring accurate reporting and analytics for decision-making.
  • User Training & Support: Provide training and technical support to staff across different departments on ODOO functionalities and other IT-related issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work closely with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements through technology, particularly in the manufacturing process.
  • Website: implement a modern website with possibility of online shopping.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, production, finance, sales) to ensure seamless integration of IT systems with business operations.

Profile:

  • Relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Technical proficiency and hands-on experience in IT systems, databases, and software management.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven experience with ERP implementation and support, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and how ERP systems support these processes (i.e: conversant with accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory and manufacturing inter-locking requirements).
  • Familiar with production planning and scheduling software.
  • Experience with ODOO would be a definite plus.
