Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Coordinator will support the Human Resources department by performing a variety of administrative and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct reference checks and background verifications as needed.
- Prepare and distribute onboarding materials to new hires.
- Facilitate new employee orientations, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both electronic and physical formats.
- Ensure all employee information is kept confidential and secure.
- Update internal databases with new hire information, terminations, and other relevant data.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs.
- Track employee participation and progress in training activities.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a professional and confidential manner.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Prepare and submit reports on general HR activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Organize and maintain HR files and documents.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information.
- Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or in a similar administrative role.
- Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, and labor laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
