HR/Project Assistant

Our client is looking for an eager and motivated individual to join its well established organization as a HR/Project Assistant

In this role, you will provide essential support to our social capital team on national projects, assisting the team on advising members on general HR matters including industrial relations and training. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge and experience under the direction of experienced personnel. The ideal candidate will be open to learning new things, ready to take on challenges, and interested in understanding every aspect of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Expert Support: Assist the social capital team with day-to-day activities.
  • Engage in Learning Opportunities: Participate actively in meetings, workshops, and other learning sessions to enhance your understanding and skills.
  • Understand Organizational Functions: Learn various staff functions, including operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices affecting each phase of business.
  • Meet Performance Goals: Achieve performance (SMART) goals and objectives set by management and provide regular reports on your progress.
  • Monitor and Report Progress: Work with management and key trainers to monitor performance progress and report on the achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Acquire Knowledge from Experienced Workers: Observe experienced team members to understand the methods, procedures, and standards required for departmental duties.
  • Support Various Departments: Provide support as needed across various departments, including tasks such as reporting, data entry, presentation creation, strategic planning, and customer service.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in HR or Management.
  • Work Experience: 2 to 3 years of working experience in HR.
  • Career Growth and Learning: A strong motivation towards career growth and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of staff throughout the organization.
  • IT Proficiency: Proficiency in IT tools and software.
