This position involves responsibility for planning, organizing, implementing procedures, and directing the overall operation of the Housekeeping Department in a Property Resort.

 

This position involves responsibility for planning, organizing, implementing procedures, and directing the overall operation of the Housekeeping Department in a Property Resort.
Work is performed under the supervision of the Property Manager in accordance with established regulations, policies, and procedures. 

Supervision is exercised over all staff assigned to the Property Resort to ensure a very high level of Owners & Guests satisfaction.
 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:  

·       Cleanliness and Care of apartments through deep knowledge of internal SOP & cleaning products, equipments & procedures so that you can implement them within the team

·       Train, Coach and Supervise staff 

·       Assign work, supervise, and evaluate staff

·       Assist the Property Resort and perform administrative duties such as completing forms, reports, maintaining records, Inventory, laundry process and invoicing follow up etc.

·       Determine staffing needs and assign a sufficient number of housekeeping personnel

·       May assist the Property Resort in the recruitment and selection of housekeeping personnel

 

PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: 

·       Excellent knowledge of cleaning procedures, housekeeping practices, supplies, and equipment

·       Ability to plan and supervise the work of others

·       Ability to deal effectively with others

·       Ability to perform basic office record keeping tasks

·       Ability to operate common office software programs

·       Ability to read and follow written instructions

·       Ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel

·       Patience, tact, cheerfulness, enthusiasm and proactiveness

·       Must live in the West (job based in Flic en Flac)

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Experience in performing housekeeping duties in another organization

·       Experience in a supervisory work, including or supplemented by training or experience demonstrating a knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning environmental control practices and procedures 

 

PACKAGE OFFERED:

-          Rs 25,000 depending on experience & qualifications

-          Fuel allowance (you must have your own car)

-          50% coverage for medical insurance for you and your dependants

-          Pension scheme
