The Guest Services Attendant is the first point of contact for members and guests at the golf club.The Guest Services Attendant ensures a welcoming atmosphere and smooth entry experience, reflecting the club’s commitment to high standards and excellent service.
Responsibilities:
Greeting Members and Guests:
- Warmly welcome all members and guests upon arrival.
- Ensure each visitor is made to feel special from the moment they step into the club.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- Ensure a positive farewell experience for members and guests as they leave the club by thanking them for coming, inviting them to return and addressing any last-minute questions or needs before they depart.
Check In/Reception:
- Greeting guests and providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person.
- Manage reservations for tee times, lessons, events, and other services offered by the golf club.
- Assist in billing / cashiering for green fees and rental equipment.
- Schedule appointments for customers and clients to meet with or talk with the Golf Operations Executive and other personnel within the business such as meetings and conferences.
- Take messages from callers and escalate to the Golf Operations Executive and other Head of Departments.
Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and organizing paperwork.- Provide information about the golf club, services, and amenities for guests.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and well stocked with necessary supplies.
Customer Service:
- Provide outstanding customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
- Assist with directions and provide information about club amenities, facilities, and services.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met efficiently.
Event Coordination Support:
- Provide support for special events and tournaments, assisting with guest check-in and registration.
- Work closely with the events team to ensure smooth execution of club events.
Member Relations:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with club members, fostering a sense of community.
- Address member feedback and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Act as a liaison between members and club management to enhance the overall member experience.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all club policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all members, guests, and staff.
