Golf Course Worker

The Golf Course Worker will undertake various tasks pertaining to golf course maintenance and will work in a team environment and operate various machines and different tasks on the golf course.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Golf Course worker:

• Cuts all areas of golf course once trained on site specific machinery.
• Reports any issues with machinery, quality of cut and leaks to workshop manager.
• Rakes and maintains bunkers, prepares them for the days play.
• Changes holes and course set up.
• Edging of all valve boxes, sprinklers, greens and pathways
• Knapsack spraying of waste areas for weeds
• Completes any task required in all aspects of golf course maintenance.
• Reports any issues/faults on golf course to Superintendent 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 1. Knowledge of maintenance of greens, fairways, and roughs.
• 2. Knowledge of the use of golf operating standards equipment and tools.
• 3. Knowledge of safe use, mixing, and application of chemical products.
• 4. Knowledge of the game of golf, golf rules, and methods of play.
