Finance Controller

Our client , an international service provider based in Grand Baie, has an opportunity available for a Financial Controller to join their team.

Qualifications required:

• BCom Accounting / ACCA / Bsc Accounting

Skills and experience required:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Minimum of 3 year’s experience in a finance position
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Understanding of offshore company structures beneficial

Job description:

• Report to Managing Executive
• Follow-up on Client payments
• Debtors management
• Cross checking the travel allowances & advances from Consultants
• Understanding management accounts and budgets
• SMP loading
• Monitoring of payments and ensuring payments are updated on excel tracking sheet
• Loading of bank payments (twice monthly)
• Preparing monthly invoices for clients
• Maintaining fixed asset register and ensuring assets are tagged
• Manage / track Yearly Budget (i.e. Travel, Marketing, Conferences etc)
• Manage credit card spend / top-ups
• Adhoc assistance for Managing Executive
• Filling and administration
• General assistance to International Finance team
