Our client , an international service provider based in Grand Baie, has an opportunity available for a Financial Controller to join their team.
Qualifications required:
- BCom Accounting / ACCA / Bsc Accounting
Skills and experience required:
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience in a finance position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Understanding of offshore company structures beneficial
Job description:
- Report to Managing Executive
- Follow-up on Client payments
- Debtors management
- Cross checking the travel allowances & advances from Consultants
- Understanding management accounts and budgets
- SMP loading
- Monitoring of payments and ensuring payments are updated on excel tracking sheet
- Loading of bank payments (twice monthly)
- Preparing monthly invoices for clients
- Maintaining fixed asset register and ensuring assets are tagged
- Manage / track Yearly Budget (i.e. Travel, Marketing, Conferences etc)
- Manage credit card spend / top-ups
- Adhoc assistance for Managing Executive
- Filling and administration
- General assistance to International Finance team
