The F&B Services Manager is responsible for assisting in the overall management and operation of the food and beverage services within the establishment. This includes ensuring high standards of service and overseeing daily operations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the F&B Manager in the daily operations of the food and beverage department.
  • Ensure that food and beverage services meet quality standards and guest expectations.
  • Supervise service staff, ensuring that they are well-trained, professional, and efficient in delivering excellent guest service.
  • Ensure timely and accurate setup, presentation, and service of food and beverages.
  • Monitor restaurant or bar flow and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of the staff.
  • Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Motivate and supervise the service team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Act as a point of contact for guest concerns and feedback.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues swiftly.
  • Promote a guest-first attitude across all team members.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control to minimize waste and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Assist with ordering supplies and ensuring the correct products are available for service.
  • Work with the F&B Manager to manage the budget for food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Ensure that food safety regulations and health & safety policies are followed at all times.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure the cleanliness of service areas, kitchens, and dining facilities.
  • Ensure that all staff adhere to safety protocols, including proper handling of food and beverages.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the food and beverage department.
  • Monitor daily sales, track financial performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary to achieve targets.
  • Assist in the development of promotional strategies to increase revenue and attract new guests.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
  • Collaborate with the F&B Manager and chefs to ensure the menu is appealing, cost-effective, and aligned with customer preferences.
  • Provide suggestions and upsell items to guests as appropriate.
  • Lead by example and provide ongoing coaching to ensure a high standard of service is maintained.
  • Assist in training new staff members and ensure continuous development for existing staff.
  • Stay updated on food & beverage trends and industry best practices to ensure the operation remains competitive.

    Candidate's profile:

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or any other qualifications.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel industry.
  • Excellence Communication skills and Leadership skills.Team Player.
