Dyeing Laboratory Clerk

CDL is currently looking for a Dyeing Laboratory Clerk. The Dyeing Laboratory Clerk shall be reporting to the Lab in Charge.

Created in 1989 and a member of CIEL Textile, CDL is a fully integrated knitting, dyeing and finishing mill located in Forest Side.  With a workforce over 400, CDL produces fabric for the fine knits garment-making industry. 

CDL is currently looking for a Dyeing Laboratory Clerk.

The Dyeing Laboratory Clerk shall be reporting to the Lab in Charge.

What you will be doing:

• Input/follow recipe and process on ERP

• Monitor all lab to bulk shades daily on bulk and report accurately
• Ensure with technical team that all lab to bulk shades which are not as per standard are re-matched daily and corrective actions are taken
• Perform all other cognate duties as instructed by the Lab in Charge

• Ensure all lab card are properly filed and all old ones are discarded as per procedure
• Communicate with internal and external customer captive and non-captive merchandiser
• Send all critical shade or all shades for specific customers to QA for testing and report any anomaly in routine meeting
• Prepare loading on a daily basis
• Fabric ordering and follow up
• Follow up of chemical testing / update on system

What are we looking for?

• At least 1 years’ experience as Dyeing Laboratory Clerk
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed to ensure production levels are met including shift work, overtime and week ends
• Candidate should be literate
• Ability to work independently and in team
• Good communication skills and motivated
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
