Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Client Onboarding Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for onboarding new clients, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from start to finish; and build the relationship between the existing clients and the company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for new clients during the onboarding process.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process, including documentation, account setup, and training to clients.
  • Conduct KYC/KYB verifications and video call backs.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the Compliance/AML procedures, and ensure that high risk matters receive appropriate level of attention escalation and sign off.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor onboarding progress and ensure a smooth transition for clients.
  • Update client files on SharePoint and CRM, ensuring records are kept up-to-date and accurate.
  • Conduct periodic KYC reviews.
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a regulated financial institution (banking or non-banking) or with an offshore management company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Proven experience in client onboarding or customer service roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
