Job Duties:
- Administers Maintenance Tasks, coordinates and oversees maintenance tasks and disseminates plans accordingly to ensure efficient operations.
- Prepares and maintains comprehensive maintenance reports detailing undertakings and expenses for management evaluation.
- Maintains an asset register and manages inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring accurate historical records, as well as preventive maintenance tasks are kept.
- Coordinates prompt response for maintenance requests, prioritizing urgent issues to minimize disruptions.
- Identifies and implements processes aimed at improving efficiency and reducing waste in maintenance operations.
Candidate Profile:
- Higher School Certificate or equivalent;
- Proven experience in maintenance or facilities management, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
- Good communication and organisational skills;
- Should possess a pleasant and outgoing personality;
- Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
- Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
