Job Duties:

 

  • Administers Maintenance Tasks, coordinates and oversees maintenance tasks and disseminates plans accordingly to ensure efficient operations.
  • Prepares and maintains comprehensive maintenance reports detailing undertakings and expenses for management evaluation.
  • Maintains an asset register and manages inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring accurate historical records, as well as preventive maintenance tasks are kept.
  • Coordinates prompt response for maintenance requests, prioritizing urgent issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Identifies and implements processes aimed at improving efficiency and reducing waste in maintenance operations. 
Candidate Profile:
  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent;
  • Proven experience in maintenance or facilities management, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
  • Good communication and organisational skills;
  • Should possess a pleasant and outgoing personality;
  • Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
