Job Profile

The job incumbent shall be responsible for providing financial and administrative services of the department. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain all necessary records including invoices, expenses, payments and transactions.
  • Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
  • Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments as applicable.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting Process.
  • Process accounts receivable.
  • Promptly handle phone calls and correspondences, both hard copies and electronically.
  • Maintain an easily identifiable Document Control System (Filing) both electronically and in files.
  • Handle and Reconciliation of petty cash at agreed intervals.
  • Any other cognate duties may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications & Experience

  • School Certificate.
  • Previous experience in a similar position would be an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude

  • Customer Focus – Commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Time Management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Attention to details.
  • Good verbal, written communication in both English and French.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Sound Judgment.
  • Result oriented.
  • High proficiency in QuickBooks (company to tailor software/ programs used).
