The Butcher will be responsible to assist his team members for the butchery part which involve meat preparation. In order to carry out well his duties the Butcher needs to be well versed with butchery technique. A high level of discretion and confidentiality is also required for this position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the team in Preparation of Clients Orders
- Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery
- Store meats in refrigerators or freezers at the required temperature
- Managed stocks of already processed sausages
- Assist the Senior Butcher in Prod cut Development
- Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards
- Ensure all equipment are used in a proper way, ensure frequency of Maintenance and preventive as well as efficiency are done.
Candidate Profile:
- Experienced Butcher, with at least 1 year experience
- Good Butchery Techniques
- Experience in Butchery & Product Knowledge
- Good Leadership
- Perfect knowledge on Hygiene Rules and Regulations
- Familiar with HACCP Health & Safety Standards
- Organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- The ability to be proactive and take the initiative
- Communication skills
