Assistant Stores Manager has the responsibility to receive, to store and to issue supplies and equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To ensure the hotel’s inventories are properly safeguarded and control against any kinds of loss.
- To ensure that the procedures follow the applicable hotel’s policy.
- To ensure that valuation of those inventories is properly made for being reflected in the financial statement.
- To maintain the inventory level at the minimum carrying and ordering costs.
- Supervise and control subordinates to discharge their duties in an effective and efficient manner.
- Manage team performance, conduct people performance management reviews in an unbiased and constructive manner, provide regular feedback and create performance development plans.
- To discharge the duties in an effective and efficient manner.
- To receive goods with the proper and complete documentation.
- To ensure the proper storing and arrangement of stocks.
- Review and discuss weekly store performance and identify actions to improve performance.
- To prepare all the storeroom’s records.
- To issue and reorder of stock and to ensure that no goods will leave the storeroom without properly authorized requisition.
- To maintain the maximum and minimum par on all items.
- To issue the purchase requisition for all required items.
- To coordinate with other departments concerned regarding the receiving, issuing and inventory taking of stocks.
- To join the training program for staff in store management.
- Maintain a relationship with the other department concerned
Candidate Requirements:
- Certificate/ Diploma in Stores/Purchasing Management or equivalent
- A minimum of 3(three) years of experience in similar roles in international 5-star luxury hotel
- Computer literacy (Opera, and Excel)
- Must be GUEST service driven
- Positive attitude
- Must be able to work accurately under pressure
- Must be self-disciplined and motivated
- Must be a TEAM player
- Excellent communication skills, in writing and verbal.
