Assistant Software Manager

Our client is seeking an assistant software manager who has a blend of Technical expertise, Leadership skills and Project Management capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, motivate and mentor teams of IT professionals
• Ensure high quality Software delivery while remaining within committed schedules
• Capability to value and promote the Company’s software services and solutions
• Ensure timely project delivery while adhering to software development methodologies and best practices
• High standard project proposal submission to secure new projects

Profile:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, or related field.
• A Master degree or an MBA will be advantageous
• Project Management Certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile certifications would be beneficial
• Strong technical background and expertise in software development, combined with effective leadership skills
• In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Python Java and JavaScript would constitute an advantage.
• Awareness in emerging technologies and trends in SW development
• Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership or managerial role
• Experience in liaising with customers and conduct presentations/meetings
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
