Assistant Software Manager
Our client is seeking an assistant software manager who has a blend of Technical expertise, Leadership skills and Project Management capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, motivate and mentor teams of IT professionals
- Ensure high quality Software delivery while remaining within committed schedules
- Capability to value and promote the Company’s software services and solutions
- Ensure timely project delivery while adhering to software development methodologies and best practices
- High standard project proposal submission to secure new projects
Profile:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, or related field.
- A Master degree or an MBA will be advantageous
- Project Management Certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile certifications would be beneficial
- Strong technical background and expertise in software development, combined with effective leadership skills
- In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Python Java and JavaScript would constitute an advantage.
- Awareness in emerging technologies and trends in SW development
- Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership or managerial role
- Experience in liaising with customers and conduct presentations/meetings
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
