Accountant (Plastinax Austral Ltd)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team!

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in line with the required accounting framework.
• Assist in the preparation of the yearly budget.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile stock for main and sub stores.
• Plan and organise quarterly and yearly stock take of all stores.
• Prepare cashflow forecast on a weekly basis.
• Assist in the preparation of yearly budget and quarterly forecast.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary information and support.
• Prepare and file VAT/TDS/INCOME TAX/Other MRA returns.
• Effectively manage team deadlines.
• Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
• Assist the finance team in the day-to-day operations.
• Any cognate duties.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in finance/accounting or minimum ACCA level 1.
• ACCA level 2 ongoing would be an advantage.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in similar position preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Well versed with IFRS reporting and disclosure notes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficient in MS Office in general.
• Good Knowledge of Pastel Evolution or any other ERP.
• Outgoing personality with good communication skills.
• Highly motivated, proactive and dynamic person.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Works well under pressure.
• Organised and committed in meeting deadlines.
• Having an eye for detail and strong analytical skills.
