Key Responsibilities:

Shelf Management:

Regularly inspect and organize shelves to maintain cleanliness and order.

Ensure all products are properly arranged, labeled, and easily accessible.

Monitor shelf stock levels and promptly restock as needed to avoid shortages.

Update product references and pricing information as required.

Inventory Control:

Keep accurate records of stock levels and report discrepancies.

Assist in regular stock counts and reconciliation.

Collaborate with the Inventory Manager to identify slow-moving or expired items.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct routine inspections to ensure product quality and shelf presentation.

Remove damaged or expired items and follow proper disposal procedures.

Report any quality issues or concerns to the relevant department.

Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.

Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace.

Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience in a similar role is preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lift and carry items of moderate weight.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Manual dexterity for shelving and restocking items.

Capability to lift and move inventory boxes and items as necessary.

Working Conditions:

The Storekeeper primarily works within the store environment.

May require occasional evening or weekend shifts to meet business needs.

A forklift license is needed.
