Store Assistant

TNS Tobacco (An Aptis Group Company) is hiring a Store Assistant to join its team!

JOB DETAILS

The purpose of this role is to provide assistance for the smooth running of Warehouse operations.

These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist during the reception of cigarettes in the bonded warehouse, ensuring all cases are sorted by product codes.
• Take photos of some crushed cases are taken to be used as supporting information for complaints.
• Highlight any major issues / discrepancies immediately to the Storekeeper (e.g., seal number issues, discrepancies in stock count etc.)
• Assist during the transfer of cigarettes from Bond to Duty Paid, including: separate cigarettes to be transferred from palettes, ensure the transfer is done as per the order plan (Bins, Codes and Quantity), and highlight any issues / discrepancies noted during the transfer.

• Assist during the delivery of cigarettes to distributors, including: ensure that delivery is done as per Invoice and Goods Receipt Note; ensure that crushed cases are not delivered to distributors; locking of container with respective pad lock before departure.
• Assist the Store Supervisor in taking Stock count in the Duty Paid Warehouse
• Ensure warehouse and nearby area is always clean
• Ensure availability of working materials, for instance tapes, distilled water, cleaning materials etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification:

• At least Form 3
• Holding a SC would constitute an advantage
• Holding a forklift license is compulsory.

Experience: 

• A prior experience in a similar position is a definite advantage
