Our client is seeking to recruit a Senior Manager - Quality & Compliance who will report to the CEO.

 

As a Senior Manager - Quality and Compliance, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organization meets regulatory requirements and maintains high standards of quality in all aspects of the operations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Quality Management (with the support of the QA team):
  • With the support of the QA team, develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and applicable regulations.
  • Ensure proper effective implementation and improvement of the quality management system based on ISO 9001.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the effectiveness of quality control /quality assurance measures and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and analyse areas points of non-Quality (defects, non-compliance with deadlines, poor organization, etc.) and propose corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on quality standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain the AAALAC program requirements in accordance with the standard of the industry.

Compliance Oversight:
  • Stay up-to-date with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards that affect our business operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance with internal policies as well as external regulations.
  • Collaborate with legal and regulatory affairs teams to ensure timely updates to policies and procedures in response to regulatory changes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and coordinate responses to inquiries or audits.
  • Ensure compliance at all times with the EIA and all other permits issued by the relevant Authorities.

Operational Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in their processes and systems, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to minimize the likelihood of non-compliance or quality issues.
  • Monitor and analyze data to proactively identify trends or patterns that may indicate emerging risks.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation by encouraging feedback and implementing process improvements.
  • Regularly review and update quality and compliance documentation to reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements.
Profile:
  • More than 10 years in the domain of Quality/compliance.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated success in the implementation and certification of quality management system.
  • Skillled in conducting audits to ensure complaince with organizational/legal requirements and industry stnadards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and identify potential compliance issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership experience, including the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and drive results.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quality management, compliance tracking, and data analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Experienced in providing training and development programs to employees to enhance their understanding of quality standards, processes, and methodologies.
  • Proficient in conducting industry based risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies.
