Senior Accountant (2413-SACC)

Our client, in the investment sector is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant who will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Keeping of accounting records in Quickbooks.
• Cash reconciliation, provide weekly sources and uses of cash report to Founders.
• Payment processing.
• Expense claims reconciliation and allocation of costs between the company entities.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Tax reporting in UAE and Mauritius.
• Budgeting and forecasting including financial modeling.
• Managing relationship with banks, management company, service providers, client finance teams.
• Working closely with client relationship team on reconciliation of dues from clients, allocation of costs, out of pocket expenses.
• Overseeing client's accounts and the tax return submissions.
• Ad hoc brainstorming on client's cases on tax, structuring matters.

Profiles:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g, CMA, CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Proven work experience in a similar role, preferably in consulting or financial services industry.
• Proficient in financial management software and Microsoft office suite, especially advanced excel skills.
• Experience working in Quick books is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting regulations, and financial analysis techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and adherence to ethical standards.
