Superdist Limited, Leader in IT Distribution across Indian Ocean Islands is looking for a dynamic and high-performing Human Resource and Personal Assistant.

 

Company profile: Superdist Limited is an authorized distribution partner of world’s leading IT brands across Indian Ocean Islands including Lenovo, HP, Acer, D-link, Microsoft, HP Enterprise, IBM, Cisco, Oracle, Supermicro, Netapp, Samsung, Forcepoint, Huawei, Vertiv, Kemp, Extreme Networks and TeamViewer. We are an important link in the supply chain connecting IT hardware manufacturers and consumers. As such, we also provide presale and aftersales services to retailers, which are extended to the end buyer. 

ACCOUNTABILITY: Human Resources

  • Draft employment contracts, warning letters, confirmation letters and other related documents.
  • Coordinate a timely and well-managed recruitment, selection, onboarding, induction and probation period process.
  • Ensure all employees files are properly created and updated as and when required.
  • Coordinate HRDC training refund procedures and follow up (G1 and G3 applications).
  • Support management on disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Compile and maintain HR related statistics and submit reports as and when required.
  • Attend HR meetings at ENL Corporate office as and when required.
  • Implement and coordinate learning and development initiatives.
  • Ensure a proper employee leave management.
  • Review, communicate and ensure implementation of policies, procedures, agreements and legal regulations.
  • Ensure employee welfare.
  • Work with ENL team to deploy the yearly employee engagement survey at Superdist and work on an engagement plan to maintain/increase the company engagement score.
  • Coordinate with the Health and Safety Officer to ensure compliance of the company to Occupational Health and Safety regulations. 

ACCOUNTABILITY: Personal assistant to General Manager

  • Draft and prepare letters/ documentation for signature.
  • Manage diary, reminding General Manager of future commitments/ matters requiring attention.
  • Make appointments, travel and accommodation.
  • Prepare and send documents to Madagascar Embassy to get Travel Visa.
  • Organise meetings and functions. Liaise with internal/external contacts, while always adhering to company guidelines.
  • Ensure that the General Manager has up to date information to meet his work schedule and deadlines and anticipate future demands that will be made on him.

ACCOUNTABILITY: Administration

  • Perform any basic administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance and improvement works of company premises.
  • To act as the main point of contact for contractors/manual workers attending company premises.
Candidate Profile:  
  • Degree in Human Resources management or any other related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience as HR officer or any similar position.
  • Able to effectively handle multiple priorities, organise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of the Workers’ Rights Act.
  • Computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft Office (high competency in word, excel and power point) with the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Fluent in English and French, both verbal and written
  • Organised and be able to take initiatives
  • Good communication skills.
  • High level of integrity.
